A Terminal ID (or TID) is a number provided to a merchant by a credit card processor when that merchant retains the services of that credit card processor to uniquely identify a terminal on the network. More than one terminal can be assigned to a merchant number as well, especially in the case when a merchant has more than one application. This is one of the pieces of information Adumo Online requires from a merchants acquiring bank before they can be activated as live. |
